Margaret M. Golden

Margaret M. Golden, 101 years of age passed away on Thursday, February 1st. at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton,N.J. She was a lifelong resident of Jersey City. She was a proud graduate of Chestnut Hill College  in Philadelphia. Prior to her retirement she was an Administrator for New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center in New York City. She, until recently, was an active parishoner of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Jersey City where she was a member of The Altar Rosary Society,The St. Vincent DePaul Society and The Senior Citizen.She was the daughter of the late David and Mary Golden (nee O'Keefe). She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters. She is survived by nieces,nephews , and great nieces an nephews.

Her funeral mass will be on Tuesday, February 6th. at 11 A.M at St. Paul's Church. Burial will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.

Visiting will be on Tuesday mornig from 9AM  until 10:45 AM

Peg was a true lady  and liked  by all she met. With her passing a little bit of old Jersey City is gone
